Martin Park Groundbreaking Ceremony

ALTA was honored to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of Martin Park’s newest location, Webster Park. The park, located near Webster Elementary School, aims to provide a safe environment for children in the community.

Martin Park is more than just a park, it’s a place of safety, spiritual growth, and positive change for the youth. The park will feature a playground, basketball courts, a splash zone, an air-conditioned multi-use building, and more. Martin Park’s mission is to create “parks with a heart” and ALTA is proud to support this effort to make the community a safer and more welcoming place.

ALTA’s Collab with Royal Roots

At ALTA, we believe in the power of collaboration to create positive change in our communities. One of our most memorable partnerships was with Royal Roots, where we brought a farm installation to Vision View.

To educate the community about the importance of agriculture and healthy living. Through this project, we were able to introduce new experiences and promote sustainability. We also installed a chicken coop and wellness garden at the Black Wellness and Prosperity Center, demonstrating our commitment to creating food sovereignty and promoting healthy beginnings and outcomes for black women and babies.

Movie Night at Webster Elementary School

ALTA’s movie night at Webster Elementary was a celebration of community and joy. With the help of Martin Park and the Fresno Police Department.

We brought families together to watch Sing 2, play games, and enjoy food. Our goal is to empower communities and create safe and lively spaces, and events like this movie night are a step towards that mission. We are committed to fostering community, building relationships, and spreading happiness.

CVCF’s Friends of the Foundation Event

On October 19, 2022, our team attended CVCF’s Friends of the Foundation event.

As a community HUB, we service the Webster community, harnessing the social capital of youth, young adults, and disparate communities. The Friends of the Foundation event was a reminder of the work that we have done over the years. We broke bread with our neighbors and community, discussing the various pieces of the puzzle being put together to create healthy, whole, and thriving communities. People from different backgrounds and professions came together with the oneness of mind to make Fresno a great place to live and grow.
